I live in a tiny country town in the South of Western Australia. Kirup has an over all population of around 300 people ( I think). The town itself is smaller. No shop except Newies. They are a fantastic fruit and vegie shop that grow most of their own produce. No mail delivery. We go down to local service station to get our mail. We live on half an acre in a weatherboard and asbestos house built in the late 40's early 50's. This is our paradise.
I am married to Alan. We have been married since 1975. We have 4 sons. Jarrad married to Megan, Kenric married to Marilyn, Jacob engaged to Naomi and Anthony our baby (he is 20). We also have 4 grandchildren. Kenric and Marilyn have Evangeline and Jacob and Naomi have Piper, Jaelyn and Lachlin.
I don't work outside of the home. I visit my dear Mother-in-law twice a week as she is in a nursing home in a larger country town some 50 minutes from here.
My hobbies are counted cross stitching and crochet. I spend a lot of time with these 2 hobbies. I am just starting to make some hexigons so I can make a quilt and also round yoyo's (a clover thingy) for another quilt. I don't want to do any serious patchwork. Love patchwork quilts I just have no desire to make one.
